Weekends are for Math!

So, at the end of the first week of our lunch/blog adventure, it begs the question, how much are we saving here? Once I get more blog savvy, I'll try to add a running calculator on the sidebar, (ooh look, I did that) but for now, please accept this in story problem form.

Eva and I hypothesized that we spend, on average, about $12 each for a given lunch at the places in our 'hood. There are cheaper days, and more expensive ones, but that's the nature of finding the average, and $12 it is, for the purposes of keeping score.

Here's the rundown, then, of our first week:
Tuesday: Instead of $24, we spent $7.26
Wednesday: Instead of $24, we spent $12.04
Thursday: Instead of $12, we spent $.80 (Eva was sick, so unfair to calculate her share)
Friday: Instead of $24, we spent $9.65 (I counted Eva's half sandwich, since it was a savvy move on her part to take half with her.)

If Eva wore green shoes 2 out of 4 days, and Pamela has approximately 24,567 curly locks, what time will they cross paths in Cleveland?

What I mean to say is, that's a savings of $54.25 for both of us for the week.

At this rate, we'll be going back to Per Se in no time!!
