Eva goes to the Farmer's Market

I love Brooklyn. I just want to put that out there for the world to see.
I went to the Farmer's Market at Grand Army Plaza just at quitting time on a HUMID, rainy day. I perused the many stall, and as I am a creature of habit, I stopped at my usual stand of produced and bought a few things that looked good. I do not find these Farmer's Markets to be cheap, mostly just good, fresh, local stuff.

For $10 I got:

2 green tomatoes
I plan to try fried green tomatoes, which I adore, and have never attempted to make.
1 beefsteak tomato
Not sure... maybe another tomato mozzarella salad, as I still have the other ingredients 1 ginormous bunch of Mint kind of an impulse buy. I don't know what to do with mint, it was just so freaking beautiful and fragrant. Maybe I'll make lemonade, as I have 4 lemons sitting around. It was $1.50. 1 ear of corn Might end up in a salad. I might eat it straight of the cob.
1 large asian pear
(pictured) I am eating it as I type. Excellent snack, although a little pricey.

It was $2.75.
Any one have any recipes I should try??
