It cost me nothing but a bottle of wine at each dinner, and I was treated to some great company and food.
Sunday Night Marni made this wonderful delightful holiday meal:
In the upper left corner is a salad on cucumbers, tomatoes, yellow bell pepper, parsley, and since I wasn't the chef, I'm sure more.On the upper right we have chicken and carrots. The recipe came from epicurious.com which is I have found to be a great source for recipes.
Lower left is Kuggel, traditional Jewish fare.
There was also chocolate cake.
Monday night Renata made a fantastic feast to celebrate our day off:

First course: Salad topped with the best cheese ever. I love cheese.

Second Course: Pastel with beef. Note the wine in the background.

#3. Pastel with mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil.
#4. Stuffed Mushrooms
And Dessert:
Pastel with bananas, cinnamon and sugar,
Chocolate covered carmel corn from the chocolate room
and Espresso.
