Sunday, and yes, we're working...

Pamela's sustenance providing this week has been awesome awesome awesome. Saturday's Nisoise Salad was super pretty and tasted great.

My living the good life has come to a close, and as Pamela began work Sunday at 9:30 am and continued until 9ish in the evening, and while I end around the same time, I didn't have to be there till noon, I have taken it upon myself to whip together a quick quesadilla. I have very little food in my house, and didn't realize last night's salad was indeed the finale of a lovely culinary week until the morning as I was getting ready for work.

Where did the quesadilla fixings come from? I bought the tortillas and cheese last night at 11 when the only stores open were the little bodegas. But seeing as how I live in Park Slope, which is pretty yuppie, the bodegas are full of decent choices. I was tired, so I ended up with cheese and tortillas.

Sunday morning I wanted something a little fancier for Pamela after the culinary week she had just provided me, so I added some jalapenos and Giardiniera. I brought some snap peas which we added to the left over salad and viola! Lunch! (Dinner, but whatever)
