I've been a bad, bad blogger, but I hope to turn it around.
Eva gave you a recap of last week, but here are my contributions:
Veggie Lunch:
-Roasted Asparagus and Pears: $2.25
(Exactly what it sounds like. There's a great brunch restaurant - Alice's Tea Cup - that offers this side as an alternative to has browns, and it's fantastic.)
South By Southwest Grilled Cheese and Tomato Salad

(I didn't even know Eva was using pepperjack cheese when I assembled this black bean and tomato salad.)
-1/2 can black beans: $.75
-1/2 bunch cilantro: $.50
-Juice of one lime $.125 (yep, they wre 8 for a dollar at Stiles)
-2 ears corn: $.68
1/2 red onion: $.16
Jalapeno: $.12
2 plum tomatoes: $.65
TOTAL: $2.99

And because I was so excited about it, I took a picture of what $6 gets you at Stiles:
So this week is special because we have performances every night. (I guess we've never let on that we work for a dance company.) In the "Ladies Who Lunch" spirit, we've recruited 2 other colleagues and we're splitting dinner-making duties, so each of us only has to cook once during this crazy week. Eva's lasagne was deelish, and stay tuned for tonight's contribution by yours truly.
Yours truly,
P
