First, tour. Tour is pretty much over for the season, which hopefully means more blogging about lunch. We had some good meals in some good places, and even took some good pictures, then basically decided to leave you all out of it. :)
Next, the ladies. What? What's that? Sadly, Eva is returning to the land of her forefathers, or at the very least her father, and moving to CA at the end of this month.
So is that it for Ladies Who Lunch? I hope not. I find even when I'm not posting as often as I should that the blog is motivation for doing the right thing as respects brown-bagging it versus pricey takeout. It may be Bi-Coastal Lunch, but lunch lives on, and I hope Eva will still offer her insight, especially since she'll have access to better produce more months out of the year.
My sister got me a Trader Joe's gift card for my b-day with the instructions to "cook a wonderful meal" which I think is Beth-speak for "why haven't you posted on this blog for 2 months?" The following isn't quite cooking, but here's a motley assortment of TJ's products that work well together:
1/2 Cup TJ's Marinated 3-Bean Salad ($.75)
3 oz, cooked ham ($1.25)
Handful Arugula ($.50)
Chips are thanks to Renata's Qdoba delivery.
